Okay if you haven’t heard of Pandora by now you need to get out from under the rock you have been living under. In many ways this online streaming music service has helped redefined the music industry. Pandora is based on the Music Genome Project, which defines music using hundreds of attributes and a complex algorithm to provide a personalized music stations base on music that specifically interests you. The service totally rocks but there are a few helpful hints that will make for a better Pandora experience. First when searching it is best to search for very specific songs that interests you. I have found that searching for styles or even artists usually provides results that are too generic. Second, if you’re like me you hate ads as much as the next guy. Pandora is a business and they have royalties to pay so they need something to keep the lights on. If you become a regular listener do yourself a favor and signup for an account. It is cheap enough and provides some great additional benefits!
