So, way back in the day when I used to work on technical support desks, one of the common things for people to say was “the Internet broke”. Well for anyone who still believes that the Internet is a series of tubes the Internet may like a single entity that can shut itself off,  but back here on planet reality that isn’t quite so true. However internetpulse.net shows you where the potential issue could be occurring if it is not in fact on your own network. In fact when it came to very random browsing issues from a PC that was in fact not having a connection issues I could quite often find the reason why the end user was having a problem with a simple traceroute and checking internetpulse.net.

So I have a bit of a confession to make. I once was a major MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) guy. I know big surprise right? Well I still love gaming and appreciate all sorts of odd situational game humor, I just don’t spend the endless hours playing anymore like I used to. Anyways enough about me, today’s site is watchtheguild.com which is an independent online sitcom that follows a group of online gamers and makes humor out of all of the stereotypes related to online gaming. Not only that but it stars Felicia Day, who is so totally nerd hot! So if you were ever wondering what its like to raid dungeons all day with a bunch of strangers (or if you just want to laugh about your gaming habit) check out The Guild.

In the world of blogging there are an endless number of folks one could follow. One of the very best in the genre of geek/car-buff/technology is pstam.com (aka paulstamatiou.com). Paul Stamatiou is someone I have been following for years and I have always enjoyed his practical approach to writing. Paul is not afraid to share his opinion and I have found that more often then not that opinion very much reflects my own opinion.
