Since it’s Friday I thought I would focus on something that could help many people. Indeed.com is one of the best job search engines on the net! They offer location based and keyword based searching options. They also aggregate many jobs from other online job boards making this awesome site a perfect tool for those out there looking for a new job. It will be interesting if Indeed will be able to stay relevant in the online job posting market since so many other players are out there, however if they stick to doing what they do best they should have a good shot.

August 28th, 2009speedcine.com
August 25th, 2009If you are like me you probably enjoy watching movies. Well speedcine.com a relatively new site has shown up and has gone through the work of indexing thousands of movies that can be watched for free (legally).
The service works really well and the selection of movies is really pretty good. They do mix some paid and Netflix subscription movies in the mix, but selecting the free option will narrow down the picks for you.
hulu.com
August 19th, 2009I know I am not exactly leading the revolution by today’s post and am a little surprised I haven’t covered this already. Hulu.com rocks, plain and simple. Their user interface is easy to use. Their indexing is very well done and things are simple to find. They have really provided a realistic approach to somewhat replacing Cable/Dish TV service with the ability to watch so many awesome shows online. I know several folks who have eliminated their paid TV service and this wouldn’t have been possible without the likes of kick ass services like Hulu.com.
dafont.com
August 18th, 2009Okay you have to admit it… normal font is boring. In fact it is boring to the point of almost being annoying! Well thanks to dafont.com your fonts no longer need to worry about being boring. They bring literally thousands of some of the most creative, well organized and FREE (at least for personal use) fonts around. I can spend hours looking through the vast selection they have and it really helps get my creative juices going. I highly recommend checking out dafont.com.
rottentomatoes.com
August 16th, 2009It has been said that opinions are like assholes; everyone has one. No where is that more true then at rottentomatoes.com. Rotten Tomatoes is a movie review site with a highly active community behind it. While I don’t agree with everything they say, they are right more often them most major movie reviewers.
pingwire.com
August 13th, 2009OK you can admit it, you have a bit of a voyeuristic side to you. Everybody does, its human nature. Well check out this relatively new tool that just came out at pingwire.com, which takes photos posted to twitter (which you can follow us at twitter.com/yototally) and just fills your screen with them almost in real time. That’s it, that’s all it does, there is nothing else to the site, but for some reason it is strangely addictive. You don’t believe me? Give it a try…but as the clip below says nothing gets censored so occasionally something naughty will show up.
buy.com
August 7th, 2009Ok so I am struggling a bit to figure out how to write this and not make it sound like an advertisement. On this Friday edition today’s site is buy.com. I know right, you’re saying but Yo! this is an online shopping site! Yes, you’re correct, but it has also been one of the very best online shopping sites I have had the pleasure of using over the last 15 years. They are super reliable, they have a very good selection, and their prices are reasonable. Lets put it this way, if you have ever bought anything at a local electronics store, you need to change your habits and checkout buy.com. I have yet to find anything at a local store that rivals the prices I have been able to get online. So if there is something you are looking to buy, why not start out with buy.com first?
copykat.com
August 6th, 2009I must admit it… one of my guilty pleasures is dining out. However in this day and age it is not always an option to dine out, which is where today’s site is so handy. Copykat.com takes restaurant favorites and turns them into very comparable home recipes. The selection of recipes ranges too from Sonic fast food to Cracker Barrel to Olive Garden. Using copykat.com will save you money, often times provide better service then you’ll get at many of these restaurants, and provide you some great delicious tasting food.
alltop.com
August 3rd, 2009After a few days out of town Yo! Totally is back with a Monday morning edition. Today we’re featuring a site that is super useful and I find myself using it often when asked where is a good place to start online when trying to find current information on a specific topic. The site is alltop.com and was started by Guy Kawasaki. Alltop positions itself as an “online magazine rack” of popular topics, and boy does it ever deliver. Some of the topics I have used Alltop for include “product management“, “Hip Hop“, “Cars” and “Marketing”
